Relaxed Performances are specifically set up to be more sensitive to audiences who may benefit from a more relaxed environment, including:

  • People with autistic spectrum conditions
  • People with learning disabilities
  • Young children

The house lights will be partially on, sound levels reduced and audience members can come and go as they please and make noise if they want to.

Our Relaxed Performances are advertised on the same page as the production in the OP Season Brochure.

A visual story for both Oxford Playhouse and the Burton Taylor Studio for use alongside our relaxed performances are available to download.
