Oxford Playhouse offers year-round opportunities to engage and inspire creativity in both those with life-long passions and those with brand-new curiosities.

Our regular and one-off activities provide adults of all ages with a chance to try something new.

Playhouse Adult Company

The Playhouse Adult Company welcomes anyone aged 26 and over with a passion for performance, and an excitement for joining a friendly, multi-generational company.

The group is full for Autumn 2025. The next round of recruitment will take place in spring for the Spring 2026 group. If you would like further information please contact the participation team.

    Join our Playmaker Later scheme, inviting later-in-life writers aged 60+ to develop a new play to be professionally produced and performed in 2026.
