Oxford Playhouse works year-round with schools and teachers to bring the classroom curriculum to life through creative activities, workshops and teacher training opportunities.
For pupils and students in primary, secondary and further education, we seek to inspire creativity and passion in every young person through our regular and bespoke schemes.
A series of in-school workshops for Year 5 & 6 pupils, Primary Playmaker is designed to support literacy learning, develop storytelling skills and fire children’s imaginations.
This is an exciting opportunity for pupils to learn how to conceive and write their own short play and understand the development process which leads to a professional production.
Working year-round with your school to collaboratively build an exciting, creative environment for pupils and teachers to thrive, Oxford Playhouse is launching a new membership scheme for Oxfordshire primary schools.
Oxford Playhouse offers work experience placements throughout the year.
We welcome students aged 14 to 18 into our lively theatre and its various and vibrant departments.
Students have the opportunity to try their hand in the Ticket Office, speak with industry professionals and create resources for the theatre that will be used by our audiences.
