Oxford Playhouse works year-round with schools and teachers to bring the classroom curriculum to life through creative activities, workshops and teacher training opportunities.

For pupils and students in primary, secondary and further education, we seek to inspire creativity and passion in every young person through our regular and bespoke schemes.

Primary Playmaker

A series of in-school workshops for Year 5 & 6 pupils, Primary Playmaker is designed to support literacy learning, develop storytelling skills and fire children’s imaginations.

This is an exciting opportunity for pupils to learn how to conceive and write their own short play and understand the development process which leads to a professional production.
