Primary Playmaker is back!

After working digitally with a small group of schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, Oxford Playhouse is so excited to begin planning our return to your classrooms.

A series of ten 90-minute in-school workshops ideal for Year 5 or 6 pupils, Primary Playmaker is designed to support literacy learning, develop storytelling skills and open children’s imaginations. This is an exciting opportunity for pupils to learn how to conceive and write their own short play and understand the development process which leads to a professional production.

A selection of your pupils’ plays will be performed on the Oxford Playhouse stage by professional actors as part of our Young Players Festival in April 2022, with all participating pupils and teachers in the scheme invited along to watch.

How Do I Sign Up My School?
