A radio play made by participants from Tea Talks 2021 project.

This 30-minute radio play features the voices, stories and recollections of sixteen incredible people from across Oxfordshire, the eldest of whom is 99 years old. Recorded remotely in Autumn 2021, this Tea Talks project celebrates Oxford, the globe and our connections to each other.

28 older people within the region took part in this Tea Talks project. The project aimed to encourage storytelling and friendship through regular telephone befriending calls. The project has been made possible with the generous support of an anonymous trust, and our partnership with Age UK Oxfordshire.

Oxford Playhouse believes everyone has valuable stories to tell, and that the stories of older people deserve centre stage. We are proud to showcase From Oxford, around the World and Back Again on our website and on Cherwell Hospital Radio.
