Oxford’s Festival Celebrating Bold New Writing from Emerging Queer Voices

Launched last year, Queer Fest returns to the heart of Oxford with performances, workshops and other ways to get involved.

In the theatre's Burton Taylor Studio, audiences will have a chance to see queer new writing at varying stages of development. From rehearsed readings to short plays, The Playhouse will form a varied programme across the festival.

Since its inception, the festival has aimed to offer queer artists a platform to showcase and experiment with new works in the heart of Oxford. Recognising the increasing demand for queer theatre in the city, The Playhouse will provide financial and creative support to all selected artists, helping bring their work to life.

Performances will take place from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 June.
