Widely acclaimed queer solo verbatim theatre piece RIOT ACT, on LGBTQ+ activism, has appeared in the West End, across London and the UK on four national tours, filmed for current global steaming and cinema screenings, translated for international performance, and is published by Bloomsbury Publishing.
Now, brand new for 2026, presented by HIV and AIDS charity Mulwade Foundation, a self-contained follow up piece RIOT ACT 2 has been created. Three brand new monologues feature Dr Joseph Sonnabend - one of the first people to ‘discover’ the AIDS virus, seventy-six year old Jonathan Blake - one of the first people diagnosed in the UK, and focussing on a modern pandemic - Ignacio Labayen De Inza, whose work supports community members affected by chemsex.
Join us in the sharing of this exciting, moving, and life affirming new work ahead of its forthcoming UK tour with the foundation.
Staged reading - work in progress.
