Oxford Playhouse is thrilled to announce that applications for Playmaker Later 2026-27 are now open.

Led by local playwright Carolyn Lloyd-Davies, Playmaker Later is our free programme for aspiring playwrights aged 60 and over. Throughout the year, participants will explore the process of writing, redrafting and producing plays. Through a combination of group workshops and dedicated tuition, the scheme will culminate in extracts from participants' plays being professionally performed in 2027.

To apply, please complete the application form here by Monday 27 July. The form consists of three sections, followed by an optional Equal Opportunities form. As part of your application, you'll also be asked to upload an example of writing for performance of no more than 15 pages.
