A love letter to cinema driven by Cy Coleman's exhilarating Tony Award-winning jazz score, City of Angels glides effortlessly between razor-sharp comedy, gripping noir, and Hollywood glamour. City of Angels originally premiered on Broadway at the Virginia Theatre in 1989 winning 6 Tony Awards including Best Musical before transferring to West End in 1993 (with a revival in 2014), where it received the Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
