A Queer New Writing Festival from Oxford Playhouse and Pegasus Theatre

Applications now open

Oxford Playhouse is delighted to present Queer Fest, in partnership with Pegasus Theatre, an exciting new festival to platform original work from LGBTQIA+ artists. It will also offer artists a new Oxford-based community and resources to create queer theatre. The festival will run from Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 June at the Burton Taylor Studio.

We are looking for queer new writing created by queer artists. Our aim will be to create a varied and diverse programme across the festival, both in form and content. We will be assessing submissions creatively, and we aim to give slots to shows we think could benefit most from being part of the festival.

We are now accepting applications for Queer Fest. Download our application pack for more information and find out how to apply below.
