Our hearing assist system is ageing and becoming increasingly unreliable. Technology moves quickly, and the old infra-red based kit is often incompatible with modern hearing aids. Signal reception has become patchy around the auditorium, and damaged headsets are impossible to replace.
This summer we want to bring the tech right up-to-date, installing a new wi-fi based system that’s capable of broadcasting with clarity and volume to an unlimited number of compatible devices, including receivers, hearing aids, earbuds, and smartphones – a gamechanger for everyone who struggles to hear clearly.
To date we have raised £12,500 of the £19,500 target. Fundraising is crucial if we are to complete this essential project in 2026.

Phone lines are open Monday – Saturday, 12 noon until the start of the evening performance.
On Sunday the Box Office telephone line is closed unless a live OP stage performance is scheduled, when phone lines will open 3 hours before the start time. The Box Office phone line will close once the live show has started.
