Daisy Ann Fletcher as DICK 'DOT' WHITTINGTON

Oxenford’s hero this year is, of course, Dick Whittington. She spends her days trading on Gloucester Green Market, just around the back of Oxenford Playhouse. Due to a long-standing family tradition, the eldest child is always saddled with the name Dick – her dad, his dad after that, and his dad after that – they were all Dicks. But she’s not like them, she’s obviously different! So please, please, PLEASE, call her Dot.

Daisy Ann Fletcher plays our protagonist, Dick ‘Dot’ Whittington. She’s thrilled to be back at The Playhouse for more panto fun, after entertaining audiences in last year’s pantomime of Sleeping Beauty as Ursula the Unsure.

Elliott Wooster as FAIRY BOWBELLS

Wotcha! It’s the magical Cockney spirit of London Town, Fairy Bowbells. They’re sworn to protect the city and its inhabitants. Aware of King Rat’s evil scheme, they must make sure Dot fulfils the ancient prophecy. Hopefully, being an exceptional shape-shifting master of disguise will come in handy!

Elliott Wooster plays Dot’s trusty companion, Fairy Bowbells. This will mark their second panto at Oxford Playhouse after charming audiences as Mark-O the Fairy last year.

Robin Hemmings as Liam Rattagher

Robin Hemmings as LIAM RATTAGHER

Let us hear your loudest boos for the villain of our story, King Rat – better known as Liam Rattagher. Riding along on his Vespa, this despicable Mancunian rat is causing complete havoc in London Town already, and he’s now got his beady eyes set on ruling all of Engerland. Will Dot and Fairy Bowbells put a stop to his dastardly plans before it’s too late?

Used to playing the villain on our stage by now, Robin Hemmings returns as Liam Rattagher. This will be his fourth panto in a row, and his third playing the Oxenford baddie!

Lucy Frederick as Sarah Fitzwarren

Lucy Frederick as SARAH FITZWARREN

She means business. It’s Sarah Fitzwarren! The successful owner of Cor Pie-Me, her pie and mash restaurant holds a reputation for being the biggest and best in all of London Town. A self-made business entrepreneur, she built her business by working her way up from the gutter and now has eyes on the stars.

Oxford’s fabulous dame returns! Lucy Frederick is back after spreading plenty of panto cheer as Nelly the Nurse. She’s delighted to be back!

Sophia Lewis as Alice Fitzwarren

Sophia Lewis as ALICE FITZWARREN

Meet Alice, the daughter of business mogul, Sarah Fitzwarren. You’ll find her helping her mother over at Cor Pie-Me, but really, she dreams of breaking free from the family business and creating something of her own. Living in the heyday of boy bands, she’s more than a little bit star-struck by Oxenford’s heartthrobs, 4EVA, especially frontman Barry Garlow.

Another familiar face returns to The Playhouse stage. Sophia Lewis takes on the role of Alice Fitzwarren following her Playhouse debut as Princess Aurora in last year’s award-winning pantomime, Sleeping Beauty.

Fintan Hayeck as Albert Square

Fintan Hayeck as ALBERT SQUARE

As the name suggests, Albert is our cheeky Cockney chappy. Frequently talking a load of nonsense, he’s got quite the soft spot for the restaurant heiress, Alice Fitzwarren.

Fintan Hayeck plays Albert Square. He also made his Playhouse debut in Sleeping Beauty! Last time, he could be seen DJing as John Rind; he’s now back for more musical fun.

Daniel Forrester as Damian Allbran

Daniel Forrester as DAMIAN ALLBRAN

Colchester art schoolboy made good, Damian Allbran has now taken up office as Lord Mayor of London. A bit dim, and easily persuaded, life for Damian is always a bit of a blur.

In his first appearance at Oxford Playhouse, Daniel Forrester plays Damian Allbran.

Stefanos Petri and Macy Dermody-Blythe as Ensemble

Macy Dermody-Blythe and Stefanos Petri as our ENSEMBLE

Meet our ensemble characters who provide even more panto sparkle to our story! You might see them on stage as the embodiment of Oxenford’s ancient prophecy, Ant or Dec, or perhaps even some rats that have got loose!

We are delighted to welcome our new ensemble members, Macy Dermody-Blythe and Stefanos Petri, completing our riotous pantomime cast.

Board the bus to London Town for this charming and uplifting tale of friendship, music, 90s cool and Britpop. Dick Whittington plays on our Main Stage from Friday 21 November to Sunday 4 January. It’s going to be rat-tastic!
