About The History of (Almost) Everything
An Oxford Playhouse production
By Ben Watson
Directed by Paul Simpson
Join our two time-travelling tour guides, Tina and Tammy, as they hurtle through time in our newest Playhouse tent production, The History of (Almost) Everything!
From Ancient Greece and Egypt to the Roman Empire and beyond, meet iconic historical figures reimagined for today — think Cleopatra as a pop star and King John as a modern dictator.
With lively nods to Oxfordshire’s past and a message about how individuals shape history, this fast-paced family show is packed with fun, music, and familiar tunes like Proud Mary and Time Warp.
