An inspirational theatrical production, Jah Makin it Happen tells the story of a Jamaican family’s journey from Jamaica to the UK during the Windrush era. Told through the vibrant sounds of reggae, the musical portrays the family’s challenges, resilience, and eventual triumphs as they adapt to British life.

Johnny dreams of becoming a reggae star, determined to provide the best life for his wife and children in the land he loves – Jamaica. But when devastation from a hurricane leaves him jobless, he leaves in search of new opportunities.

Jah Makin it Happen blends live reggae music, comedy and dance while capturing the journey of a Jamaican family navigating migration, identity and belonging in Britain. With outstanding reviews and sell-out shows, experience a production like no other, with something for all the family to enjoy.
