There is only one word used in our show - it’s Hay!.

Like the stuffing in Farmer Geenie’s scarecrow, Hay! like the sound she makes when he comes to life and Hay! when he sees all the wonders of the natural world for the first time.

Only one word but so many meanings in a show about growing up in the heart of the countryside and discovering that you don’t have to stay stuck in the mud – you can live your dreams, spread your wings and fly like the birds. A highly accessible show filled with music, clowning, song and dance.

Farmer Geenie teaches newly-made Scarecrow all about the gifts of nature - how to walk, talk, dance and sing and perhaps even how to fly. With delightful animal puppets, flocks of birds and a mysterious egg, this show celebrates everything we love about our precious environment.

Of course, Scarecrow gets all sorts of things wrong as he learns about his new world, making a show full of learning, clowning and fun. Lots of laughter, music, songs and dancing in store!
