Lare Oyefusi is a British-Nigerian writer, actor, and creative producer for stage and screen whose work showcases black and African diasporic perspectives in mainstream, audience-challenging narratives.
His debut play Glory, Hellfire was written in the Soho Theatre Writers’ Lab (2022), and he is currently a member of the Bush Emerging Writers’ Group (2023-24) and Oxford Playhouse Playmakers (2024).
His TV pilot St Diamond won a place on the All3Media Edinburgh TV Festival New Writers’ Collective (2023), and he is now developing projects across TV, film, and theatre.
As a script editor & producer, Lare has development experience at Greenacre Films, strategy and commissioning experience at Disney+ and recently assistant script edited on the Channel 4 Screenwriting Scheme.
He studied for a BA at Cambridge University before completing diplomas in Creative Writing for Performance (Cambridge University) and Acting (Central School of Speech and Drama).
