Oxford Playhouse is a smoking-free venue. We appreciate visitors refraining from the use of both real and electronic cigarettes. Thank you.
There are many restaurants in Oxford that you can go to for a meal before or after a show at the Playhouse. Around the corner from the Playhouse on George Street is Côte Brasserie which serves a range of dishes and a Weekday Lunch and Early Evening Set Menu on Monday to Friday until 7pm starting from £11.50 each.

Oxford Playhouse weather policy
Applies to all Oxford Playhouse shows on the mainstage, the Burton Taylor Studio and offsite shows.
If you have booked for an event being sold through Tickets Oxford, then you need to contact the company holding the event directly for information on their weather policy.
Productions will go ahead in all but the most extreme weather conditions (where it is deemed to be unsafe for the production to continue).
As weather conditions can change, and forecasts can be inaccurate, the decision to cancel a show will not be taken before the published start time of the show.
We ask that everyone comes prepared for all weather conditions.
Refunds will only be offered if a show is cancelled.
If you are unable to attend the show on the day of the performance due to weather, please contact us in advance to advise you.
If a show is not cancelled, but you have not been unable to attend/stay for the whole performance due to the weather, please contact us as soon as possible after the show. Subject to availability, we will try and transfer your tickets to another performance of the same show. If that is not possible, we may be able to offer you tickets for another upcoming show.
