We aim to make a visit to Oxford Playhouse an easy and enjoyable experience for families.

We provide:

• Toddler booster seats
• Storage for pushchairs and prams
• Baby changing facilities (in the adapted toilet on the ground floor)

Lap Tickets:

Unless a different age is stated on the website, babies under the age of 2 are welcome to family shows for free at Oxford Playhouse with a Babes in Arms ticket. These can be booked by calling the Box Office.

In addition, we are sometimes able to offer Relaxed Performances across other shows in our programme. These are ideal for anyone who wants to bring a baby to the theatre. Relaxed performances will be labelled as such on our website. Please call the Box Office on 01865 305305 to book your Babes in Arms ticket and we can advise where best to sit and the theatre’s protocol.

Family shows at the Burton Taylor Studio

Unless otherwise specified, babies under 12 months require a free baby ticket. To book please email [email protected] with your order number. Lap tickets are subject to availability. Children over 12 months will need their own ticket.

Please note that for all performances, anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
