Celebrity Farewell Concert

Beethoven: Spring Sonata
Brahms: Sonata in D minor
Arvo Pärt: Fratres
Beethoven: Kreutzer Sonata

'One of the supremely great violinists of our time' and 'justly regarded as Britain's finest violinist', Tasmin Little has firmly established herself as one of the leading international soloists. She has performed on every continent and in some of the most prestigious venues of the world.

In January 2019 Tasmin Little announced that, after a long and exciting career, she has decided to pursue new directions from Summer 2020. Teaming up again with the wonderful Russian pianist Andrey Gugnin, winner of the 2016 Sydney International Piano Competition, in May 2020 she will be giving a few UK recitals.

Her performance of these Beethoven and Brahms masterpieces in the Holywell Music Room marks her last appearance in Oxford.
