REMOTE is an interactive live game interrogating the politics of choice, and decision-making in an immaterial world, saturated with technology.

This is a piece of game-theatre and it’s entirely led by you, the audience. As well as just being yourselves – you are also, together, playing a character, and you’ll be asked to make choices for her.

Fusing an interactive script with a live and responsive sound design, REMOTE is a mechanical theatre game, imagining the future.

Duration: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes with no interval

A major new revival of Terence Rattigan’s astonishingly involving classic family drama comes to Oxford Playhouse with Tessa Peake-Jones and Aden Gillett. Having been expelled from the Royal Naval College for stealing a five-shilling postal order, young cadet Ronnie Winslow’s entire family are pulled apart by the repercussions of this charge. Set against the principled English values of...

  • The Audit

    Wed 14 - Thu 15 Mar

The global economy is a mess. The crash has landed, the tide’s swept out, and it’s taken our hope with it. The rich have got richer, the middle’s squeezed tight, and the poor are being dragged ever downwards. The Audit tells the story of how a nation raised their voices in protest, and how collective power can move a mountain – even if only a little. The Audit is Proto-type's second sh...
