A world in which every word must be chosen carefully. A world in which every word is counted. Where every word matters more than ever before. This is Oliver and Bernadette’s world — a world not unlike ours. The government has passed a Quietude Bill, limiting each person to 140 words a day. The young couple now struggle to express themselves in a society that no longer permits free speech. Having sold-out at the Edinburgh Fringe and featuring an award-winning script, this is a new adaptation of acclaimed playwright Sam Steiner’s Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons.
