Performed as a one woman show, Confessions of a Coconut is a research-based theatre piece seeking to explore issues of immigration and identity in a modern world.

Confessions of a Coconut is part of the New Writing Festival

The OUDS New Writing Festival is an annual competition to find Oxford's best student playwrights and showcase their work.

At the Burton Taylor studio, four pieces of new writing selected by the OUDS committee will be shown and judged by a professional playwright for the title of "Best New Script".

The festival aims to provide mentoring and support for new writers, as well as encouraging individuals from the Oxford student community to become generally more involved with drama.
