“Are you sure that we are awake? It seems to me that yet we sleep, we dream.”

The fairy King and Queen have fallen out, and that means the whole world has gone wrong. There’s snow in Summer, heatwaves in Winter and everyone is in love with the wrong person. Amateur actors, fairies and lovers all collide in the woods with life changing consequences. But was it all really just a dream?

Shakespeare’s classic tale of magic, mischief and mechanicals is directed by Joanne Pearce (RSC Associate Artist) and performed by a cast of talented students from Magdalen College School.

Following acclaimed productions including Alice in Wonderland, Wind in the Willows and Peter Pan, MCS Drama performs this classic summer Shakespeare in a production sure to entertain the whole family.
