Oxford Playhouse 80th Anniversary Gala Performance in association with Macdonald Randolph Hotel

On 21 October 2018, Oxford Playhouse turns 80, and to celebrate we are putting on an evening to remember. Famous alumni of the Playhouse are coming back for one night only to perform in a revue that covers the history of the Playhouse, from its beginnings just before the outbreak of the second world war right through to the present day. Under the able direction of film producer, Victor Glynn, the evening will include a lot of comedy, more than enough music and a few too many “re-interpretations” of the Playhouse’s most famous productions!

This is an unmissable night of comedy, music and theatre. Hosted by Rory Bremner featuring a star-studded cast that currently includes: Jane Asher, Christopher Biggins, Katy Brand, Patricia Hodge, Freddie Jones, Matthew Kelly, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sally Phillips and David Tennant, with more names to be announced.

The House Band for the evening will be The Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band.

Tickets:

There are two ticket options for the evening:

£90 Standard (stalls):
Complementary glass of champagne, gala souvenir programme and goody bag

£180 Anniversary (circle):
Unlimited champagne, enhanced goody bag, souvenir programme and an invitation to our after-party with the stars of the show, kindly hosted by Macdonald Randolph Hotel.

The evening will be a black tie event.

All money raised from the evening will go towards Oxford Playhouse’s Anniversary Fund
