For your involvement in the consultation, we will offer you 30 free tickets to see the play in your nearest venue or a free recorded version of the show, in addition to access to the Portal.
What Is the Creative Learning Portal?
This year, The Egg, Bear Trap Theatre, Oxford Playhouse and Wales Millennium Centre are premiering a new show, Josephine, for KS2 and KS3 audiences, based on the life of African-American activist and entertainer Josephine Baker.
We are also building the Creative Learning Portal, which will exist as an online resource to support and enhance the experience of the show within schools. You can find out more information about the project here.
What Is the Offer?
We want to consult with teachers and educators so that the Portal can be of maximum use and benefit to them. Consultations will take place via Zoom focus groups and short surveys.
We are looking to work specifically with teachers of KS2 and KS3 classes. Between February - June 2021, we will hold 5 focus groups and invite teachers to attend the sessions that work best for them. We ask that you attend at least 2 sessions, one of which should be the introductory session in February OR March.
The sessions will be no longer than 1.5 hours and will be an informal and fun way of directly influencing/inputting to our design process and connecting with other teachers.
