Oxford Playhouse offers a range of workshops and projects suitable for all ages to bring drama alive for everyone.

From our regular half-term and holiday workshops to our Young Companies and Adult Skills Sessions, these activities promise to introduce you to a range of subjects and skills; from writing and storytelling to the craft of acting for the stage.

Whatever your interest and level of experience, if you’re enthusiastic about theatre making then you’ll enjoy spending a day, a week or even longer at Oxford Playhouse.


  • A festival of activities, installations and performances celebrating young people.

  • The 17|25 Young Company perform "The Odyssey" 2015. Oxford Playhouse productions are supported by the Onstage Fund and 17|25 is supported by the Offstage Fund.

    From one off workshops to becoming a Young Company member, our activities are great way to make friends and hone new skills.

  • Join our participatory activities for adults from discussion groups to one day workshops, to performing on stage with visiting companies.

  • We offer a wide range of workshops, projects and resources suitable for KS1 to KS5 that will bring drama alive in your classroom.
