Support for Artists

Support for Artists

Oxford Playhouse is committed to discovering, nurturing and promoting the best emerging talent from Oxfordshire and beyond.   Artists are at heart of everything we do at Oxford Playhouse, and we want to do as much as we can to help support you during this challenging time.  We have already committed to 10 artistic initiatives under our Playhouse at Home creative programme to help our communities stay creative, from audiences and artists, to schools and families.

There are specific areas of support for Artists that you might find helpful:

  • Advice Sessions for Oxfordshire based artists, which offer support on a range of topics
  • Sharing of opportunities and resources

If you want to hear about our support for artists as and when they come available, please sign up to our artist newsletter by email artistdevelopment@oxfordplayhouse.com

Oxford Playhouse is committed to supporting the development of artists across Oxfordshire. One way we support artists is through regular Artist Sessions where we meet with artists/ companies offering creative advise and answers to questions about funding, marketing, programming, artist development and more.

Previously ran as an informal extension to our outreach and Evolve schemes, Oxford Playhouse are now launching our Advice Sessions as a structured commitment to supporting artists/ companies across Oxfordshire. Because now more than ever it is important to stay connected and creative.

“Oxford Playhouse’s help, support and guidance has been invaluable and continues” Kuumba Nia, Oxford Playhouse Evolve Artists 19/20
