Oxford Playhouse Pantomime Audition: Cinderella

Pantomime auditions for young people ages 8 to 18. Each year a company of 22 young people from across Oxfordshire perform as the ensemble of the Playhouse pantomime. If you’ve never auditioned before come and give it a go!

Workshop, Games and Craft activities for children

George’s Marvellous Medicine

During the week of George’s Marvellous Medicine we are delighted to offer a series of games and crafts available pre-performance.

9.45-10.45am Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 August.
12.45 – 1.45pm

Tickets £2 per child are available from our Ticket office.
Age guidance 4+

Parents are welcome to stay and join in.
Please note the Top Room is not accessible to wheelchair users.
 


Holiday workshops

At Oxford Playhouse we offer a range of activities throughout the year  for children and young people aged 7-18. From one off workshops to weeklong projects, we use professional actors, directors and our own creative staff to run these activities.

Set your hair on end with a day of ghostly games and ghastly activities all themed around Halloween. Cook up a potion, transform into a monster and dream up a ghoulish tale to be told after dark.

A practical approach to help prepare for drama school auditions. The day will cover movement, voice, singing, workshop auditioning and your interview. No need to prepare a speech.

16|22 - Young Company

Are you aged 16-22?

Do you want the chance to learn more about acting, directing and writing? 16|22 is Oxford Playhouse’s resident Young Company. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds. Experience of performing is not essential but an enthusiasm and willingness to have ago is a must! Summer term sessions are held at the Playhouse and run from 27 April to 23 June from 5-7pm on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings.

Tickets: £50 per 9 week term

There are assisted places available for any young person who is committed to learning about theatre, for whom the price is an obstacle for taking part.
