Looking for a friendly sing-song and play session to enjoy with your pre-school children? Hey Diddle Diddle! Is held weekly from Monday 16 January 2012 to Monday 12 March 2012 (excluding 13 Feb) , with coffee included in the price it’s a fun way to start the week.
Tickets: £5 for one adult and one pre-school, £2 for a second child
The Family Show
Friday 17 February 11am to 1pm
Ark T, Crowell Road, Cowley
Parents and grandparents take part alongside children in this enjoyable storytelling workshop. Includes a cup of tea and some relaxation time for adults as your children create a story just for you!

Writing Day: Young Playwrights

A session for young writers to gain skills in writing for the stage. Bring along a scene you have already prepared and learn techniques around character, action and dialogue. Enjoy hearing your work performed by members of Oxford Playhouse Young Company 16|22 to finish the day.

Follow your imagination and spend two days exploring ideas, writing and performing the adventure of a lifetime. Author and playwright Sam Gayton leads this inspirational workshop on adventure stories.

Easter Bunnies
Thursday 5 April 10.30pm and 1.30pm

This workshop combines storytelling and craft, offering parents and children the opportunity to spend some creative time together. Take part in some interactive storytelling and fashion some bunny ears over a gentle hour with a cup of tea or coffee. (Free tea and coffee)

Stage Combat
Tuesday 10 April 10am to 4pm
Top Room, Oxford Playhouse
Come along and throw your weight around in this workshop about how to make stage fighting look real. Learn basic stage combat techniques including how to judge distance, mask blows, throw staged punches safely and work towards performing fight scenarios at the end of the day.

Improvise, devise and perform! Take part in the autumn term of 11|15, Oxford Playhouse’s Young Company for eleven to fifteen year olds.
Sessions: Every Thursday from 5pm to 7pm at OCVC from 2 February to 29 March 2012 (excluding 16 February).
Fees: £40 for the 8 week term.

If you are aged 16 to 22 and want the chance to learn more about acting, directing and writing then why not try out 16|22. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds. Experience of performing is not essential but an enthusiasm and willingness to have a go is a must! Our autumn & spring terms are now fully booked but if you are thinking of joining us for the summer term, which starts in April, why not come along to a FREE taster session.
