Get involved

There are lots of ways you can get involved with Oxford Playhouse and our Studio, the Burton Taylor Studio. If you have an idea for a project, a script you'd like to submit or a proposal for a performance, we would be happy to hear from you.

We also accept CVs from people interested in performing at the Playhouse.

Please post your material or CVs to Charlie Field, Programme Manager, Oxford Playhouse, Beaumont Street, Oxford OX1 2LW or via email. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 8 weeks.

Work Experience & Assisting

Every year we take over 40 work experience students who take part in a range of placements, including

  • Work experience (1 or 2 people placed on these weeks)
  • Group week (Up to 12 placed on these weeks)
  • Studio Assisting
  • Holiday Workshop Assisting
  • Workshop Assisting

We welcome applications from anyone over 14 including those in further education and those in work wishing to increase their skills base or experience another industry. We do accept applications from out side Oxfordshire but aim to offer a high proportion of placements to people who are Oxfordshire based.

We are always over subscribed so please don’t be disappointed if you are not selected this year.
