Short on time? Make the speediest of donations by texting OXPL11 £5 or £10 to 70070. Every penny counts and whether you text once a week, once a month or once a year, your donation will help ensure the Playhouse's work reaches as many people as possible.

Regular Giving

Making a monthly, quarterly or annual gift is an extremely valuable way of supporting the Playhouse. We already have around 500 regular donors and their gifts play an important role in all aspects of the theatre’s work and help enormously when planning for the future. You can set up a regular gift by standing order using our donation form here.

Making a Gift Aid donation can increase the value of your gift by 25% at no additional cost to you. If you are a UK taxpayer, Oxford Playhouse can claim back 25p for every £1 you give. If you pay tax at the higher rate, you can claim further tax relief in your self-assessment tax return.

Fundraising events

Are you thinking of running a marathon, doing a sponsored walk, climbing a mountain or doing a parachute jump? If you are planning a sponsored challenge event of any sort, please consider doing it in aid of Oxford Playhouse. There are lots of organised events across the country which allow you to choose your charity or perhaps you would like to organise one on your own with family and friends. The Playhouse is registered with BT’s MyDonate website so setting up a fundraising event page and collecting sponsorship couldn’t be easier.

Name a seat

By choosing to name a seat in the auditorium, you are playing your part in supporting the future of the Playhouse whilst gaining a unique form of recognition in doing so. You may wish to name a seat for yourself or perhaps honour someone special, remember a loved one or celebrate the arrival of children or grandchildren. Naming a seat costs £500 for five years or £1,000 for ten years.

Going shopping online? Oxford Playhouse is now registered on Easyfundraising so any time you do a spot of online shopping with one of the hundreds of listed retailers, you can raise money for the Playhouse at no additional cost to you.

All you need to do is register on Easyfundraising (it only takes a couple of minutes) and choose to support Oxford Playhouse. When you want to shop online, log in at Easyfundraising first and follow the links to your favourite retailers. Then shop just as you usually would and each purchase you make will generate a donation to Oxford Playhouse. You don't pay a penny more. To find out more about how it works click here.
