Young Players Festival

Young Players Festival

Every March we like to celebrate the beautiful, poignant and inspiring work made by children and young people in and around Oxfordshire.  In March 2018 99 children and young people created and performed in the Oxford Playhouse Top Room and Burton Taylor Studio and at Oxford Town Hall.  723 people watched those performances and 250 primary school pupils, from schools participating in our Primary Playmaker programme, watched plays they had written performed by professional actors on the main stage at Oxford Playhouse.

Join us next year, March 2019 to watch and engage with work created, written and performed by children and young people from in and around Oxfordshire, at the Playhouse, the Burton Taylor Studio and beyond...

If you would like your young company or students to participate in our 2019 Young Players Festival please email learning@oxfordplayhouse.com

Oxford Playhouse works in partnership with other cultural organisations, schools and communities.

We believe access to cultural experiences and opportunities to be creative are important for every child and young person, and want to celebrate the work of children and young people from all over Oxfordshire.
