A fun filled week of circus and play making skills for 8–12 year olds
Monday 11 – Friday 15 August
Big-Top Big-Tricks
Location: Burton Taylor Studio
Roll up to the magical world of the Big Top where anything is possible!
Following on from the success of Gripped? last summer, join Richard Knight from Mime-the-Gap and Natasha Crosher of ShakespeareWorks to create a magical adventure of mystery and mishaps that lie beneath the Big Top.
In a week of magic, mime, and clowning, create a circus alive with adventure. Learn magic tricks, become a clown, try your hand at juggling and weave these into a surprising story.
Perform to friends and family at 4.30pm on Friday.
Tickets: £110 (for the week)
A week long comedy workshop for 12–16 year olds
Monday 18 – Friday 22 August
A Man Walks into a Bar…
Location: Burton Taylor Studio
You’ve heard the joke a thousand times, but not like this. Mark Curtis and John Carter, (performers, theatre makers
and generally funny guys), return to make us laugh even more than they did last year.
To do this they need a group of young actors to make a piece of theatre combining elements of drama, stand-up comedy, farce,
clowning and just plain silliness in just five days!
Perform to friends and family at 4.30pm on Friday.
Tickets: £115 (for the week)
