David Wood OBE has adapted many Roald Dahl classics for the theatre, including The BFG, which recently visited Oxford Playhouse. Join him as he talks about Dahl, the master storyteller and the craft of turning his stories into plays. A must for all ages. David Wood is ‘the national children's dramatist' (Times). He has written more than 70 plays for children which have been performed worldwide. Titles include The Tiger Who Came To Tea and Spot's Birthday Party. David has adapted seven Roald Dahl novels for the stage - The BFG, The Witches, The Twits, Fantastic Mr Fox, James and the Giant Peach, Danny the Champion of the World and George's Marvellous Medicine.
