Oxford Playhouse's 70th anniversary gives us a great opportunity to celebrate the history and achievements of this very special theatre and also to look ahead - and set the stage for our future.
As part of this year's celebrations, we have launched the 70th Anniversary Campaign to raise £1 million to support a whole host of new projects and initiatives. The Campaign was kick-started by our Chair, Professor Graham Upton, who raised nearly £45,000 in June on a 1,100 mile sponsored bike tour of English regional theatres.
£1 million is an ambitious target and we would like to ask for your help. Our audiences - those who know and love theatre - are key to the success of the Campaign.
